CREATING AS A NEED

One day you find out you can express your deepest feelings through images.
Real world can be shown in a magic way and make you exorzice your soul. So, you take pictures as a kind of impulsive need and work on them till they speak by themselves.

And then you show them in a public site to make the world understand better what means to have a disease that controls your life: bipolarity, i.e. feeling things so strongly that sometimes you can't breath, sometimes you just want to die.​

​​​1.- Why do I make self portraits?

​

      By means of the photos I take with a camera,  I try to create images that express my feelings, emotions and thoughts. I'm not a photographer but a creator as I use cameras as  first tool to make what you see here transforming reality as I feel it. I'm a happy cheerful woman most of the times, but I also visit Hell too often. Creating images helps me  to express my deep feelings, even the darkest ones.

    

2- Why do you pose nude in front of your camera most of the time?

      I use my nude body as an extension of my nude soul. And I get a high degree of intimacy that I don't find being dressed.

3.- Which are my favourite photographers?

​

     There are four contemporary  photographers who make my soul jump up when I see their pictures.

   There are some points that they share with me: female, mainly  focused in selfportraiture (at least in a period of their creative life) and a flickr gallery (where I found out their works). I could  talk about them for hours, but you better visit their sites to understand my admiration. Enjoy their Art.

​   Speaking about men, my husband, Toni Hernández, with no doubt. I met him and felt in love instantly of his photography in 2010.
